EyeTV 2.5 update adds iPhone, iPod touch support
Elgato has announced the release of EyeTV 2.5, a free update to the company’s EyeTV 2 Digital Video Recorder (DVR) software for Mac OS X. It’s available for download from Elgato’s Web site. EyeTV costs $79.95 (upgrades from previous versions are available).
EyeTV helps you record TV on your Mac (using compatible hardware, including Elgato’s own EyeTV-branded peripherals). You can schedule recordings up to two weeks in advance, create playlists and favorite channel lists, manage your recordings schedule, edit out commercials or other unwanted content, create clips and export to different file formats including the iPod.
New to the 2.5 release is one-click export to formats optimized for viewing on the iPhone and iPod touch. EyeTV now lets you access the library of EyeTV recordings over a local Wi-Fi connection via Web server running within the software.Read the whole article @ MAC World
