Free Monitoring App Released for iPhone, iPod touch – Alarm.com

Alarm.com has announced the availability of a free application that enables iPhone and iPod touch users to perform home and business security monitoring right from the portable device. According to its makers, the Alarm.com app provides complete awareness of what’s happening at their properties in real time.

The provider of wireless and web-enabled security and monitoring technology reveals that its free iPhone app connects customers to their security systems from anywhere. Consumers can use the app to remotely arm and disarm their security system, watch real-time video footage and recorded video clips showing events that happened while they were away, and even see where there has recently been motion activity at their property. Alarm.com also includes the ability to provide real-time email and text message alerts to one's device whenever the security system detects an event.
